Most Asian markets fell on Tuesday, tracking overnight weakness in Wall Street as strength in the U.S. job market drove bets that interest rates will remain relatively high.

Bitcoin’s price fell on Tuesday, pulling back from recent gains amid growing bets that U.S. interest rates will fall at a slower pace than initially anticipated. 

The U.S. dollar stalled near a seven-week high on Monday as investors reassessed their positions after last week's strong U.S. jobs data and as fears that Middle East tensions would spill into a wider conflict drove bids for safe havens.

A U.S. judge on Monday ordered Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL)'s Google to overhaul its mobile app business to give Android users more options to download apps and to pay for transactions within them, following a jury verdict last year for “Fortnite” maker Epic Games.

Since the price of Bitcoin (BTC) soared to an all-time high (ATH) of $73,750 in March, it has not traded close to this level again. This is despite the Bitcoin halving event on April 20, which further deflated the emissions rate of the digital currency.

U.S. stock index futures slipped on Monday as investors dialed back bets on the scope of the Federal Reserve rate cuts this year, ahead of key inflation data, policymakers' comments and the third-quarter earnings season that starts later this week.
